SonicWall SonicOS CLI practice lab
This is a browser SonicOS 7.1 style CLI for an NSv. It is not a SonicWall appliance. The admin > prompt is where show and ping run. configure terminal moves you to (config)#. Changes stay pending until commit, and the page shows a pending badge while that is true.
The objects this shell is built to show are status, zones, address objects, access rules, and NAT policies. Use the side list rather than SonicOS syntax from memory. If the badge is lit, you have not committed, so show output may still be the last committed practice config.
Guest mode loads dummy data. No VM and no licence. While the pending badge is lit, a show command can still print the last committed practice config, so commit before you decide an edit failed. Address objects have to exist before an access rule can use them. Check the object list, then the rule. Sign-in is optional.
