This is a browser copy of a PAN-OS 11.1 style firewall for training. It is not a licensed Palo Alto VM-Series and it does not manage a real firewall. The screen has the usual tabs: Dashboard, ACC, Monitor, Policies, Objects, Network, and Device, plus a CLI tab. The device name on the page is PA-VM and the footer shows PAN-OS 11.1.4-h2 as the practice version.
You can add a security rule from the Policies view. The practice check for that action is a security rulebase set: from trust to untrust, action allow. You can also edit or delete a rule you added, and add a NAT rule that uses dynamic IP and port on an interface address. Commit is on the top bar. The CLI tab is there for show and configure-style practice next to the tabs.
Guest mode opens with dummy data. Nothing on this page is a PCNSA or PCNSE exam. Two related pages on this site use the same idea: the traffic lab sends ping and curl from a desktop through a prebuilt policy and shows session and traffic logs, and the workbook is a set of investigation tasks. Sign-in is optional and only keeps the workspace.
Yes. Policies lets you add a security rule. The practice action records a trust-to-untrust allow rule, and you can edit or delete rules you add.
