Forescout CounterACT practice lab
This is a Forescout CounterACT 8.4 style NAC screen. It is not a CounterACT appliance and it does not sit on a real span port. The inventory lists 7 dummy endpoints. Each row shows host, IP, classification, VLAN, and whether the endpoint is compliant. Click a row to inspect it.
Under the table are segmentation policies and the actions the lab will apply when you evaluate an endpoint. The result shows the verdict and the VLAN the policy would place that host in. Use it to connect classification and compliance to a VLAN decision.
Guest mode needs no Forescout login. The 7 hosts are training data. Reset restores the starter inventory. Do not expect this page to discover devices on your network. A compliant host and a non-compliant host should not receive the same VLAN if the segmentation policy is working. Click one of each and compare the verdict before you change an action.

What happens when I select a host?
You can evaluate it against the segmentation policies and read the VLAN the action would assign.
Does this scan my LAN?
No. The inventory is fixed practice data.
