Check Point Gaia CLI practice lab
This is a browser Gaia CLI for Check Point R81.20 style practice. It is not a CloudGuard or Quantum gateway and it does not install a real policy package. The page is CLI only. There are two shells: clish, which is the default restricted Gaia shell, and expert, which behaves like the bash expert mode engineers use after expert. Type ? at the prompt for the commands that level knows.
The quick start on this page is show version for the Gaia and kernel line, show interfaces for the NICs, and the operational checks an admin runs before blaming policy: interface state, fw stat style status, cluster state with cphaprob, and save config. Read the side list and run those commands rather than guessing flags that are not in the lab.
Guest mode opens with dummy gateway data. No SmartConsole is drawn on this page. Use it to build the habit of clish versus expert and of reading interface and cluster output before you change anything. Sign-in is optional.

Is SmartConsole in this lab?
No. This page is the Gaia shell only, with clish and expert mode.
What should I type first?
show version and show interfaces. The side panel lists the rest of the commands this shell answers.
Does expert mode change a real gateway?
No. Expert is a practice mode inside this browser shell. Nothing is installed on a Check Point appliance.
Can I save the practice config?
The lab includes save config in the Gaia command set described on the page. It saves the practice workspace, not a production database.
